This course is specially designed for people who are starting out with the Cajon from scratch, without any knowledge of music or percussion. In it I share with you all the technical, rhythmic and musical elements necessary for you to learn to make music, and play the rhythms and songs you like with the Cajon. The course offers you a simple, practical and fun learning path through which you will learn to play the Cajon by making music. The course contents include: 10 video classes, in which you will learn to play 14 rhythms that you will apply to play 14 songs, covering a wide spectrum of musical styles ranging from African music, Brazilian music and Latin music, to popular rhythms such as reggae, funk and hip hop. The course materials include sheet music for all the rhythms and various video content with which you will be able to put the rhythms and songs in the course into practice. Hello! My name is Facundo Alvarez and I'm going to be your Bongo teacher! For 20 years I have been dedicated to developing educational and recreational content and experiences, with the goal of facilitating access to percussion for people of all ages. In all the projects I develop, I work motivated by the premise that "Percussion is for everyone" and that "Everyone can learn to play percussion." My goal is to help as many people as I can experience the unique experience of making music with percussion instruments.
